While you can have many users on one SmartUse account, only one user on the account can be assigned the role of Owner.

Below are instructions if you need to assign the Owner role to a different user.

NOTE: You must currently be the account Owner to be able to assign a new Owner.

Change Account Owner

  1. Login to your SmartUse account.

  2. Click USERS on the left menu bar.

  3. Find the user you would like to assign the role of Owner.

  4. Click the three dots in the ACTIONS column to the right of their name.

  5. Choose Make owner.

  6. Click Yes to confirm.

Once the process has completed, you will notice that LICENSES has been grayed out on your left menu bar. This confirms that you no longer have Owner permissions to access to that section.

You will now be an Administrator on the account; your project and folder permissions will not change.
